Beneath the decoration, nine stiff tulle layers sit on a built-in hooping keep the skirt level. The back closure uses two rows of hand-made adjustable hooks. The top edge of the bodice carries a concealed drawstring. Fine double mesh sheathes the briefs underneath. At the surface of the skirt: black and red floral embroidery. White lace applique decorates the bodice front. Red rosette decorates the center front of the bodice. The center front of the bodice carries a red beaded line.
