In white and ivory, this pancake tutu piece is constructed as a ballet tutu. The bodice is worked in white non-stretch jacquard. White meets ivory across the piece. Under the top cloth, nine layers of stiff net hold the skirt flat. Hand-worked hooks at the back keep the closure adjustable. A hidden tie inside the upper bust edge sets the fit. A double-mesh overlay covers the built-in briefs. Gold, red, blue embroidery and beadwork sits at the center front of the bodice. The front panels repeats the same decoration. Silver small bead dots mark the upper chest. As for the skirt: a flat horizontal skirt made of multiple layers of stiff tulle forming a wide disc shape.
