Description
Set against a backdrop of painterly movement, this rose-pink platter tutu commands the stage with a structured satin bodice and a wide, scalloped pancake skirt. The non-stretch duressana-style bodice is cut in a clean Korean-style separate construction, free of boning yet shaped by a back drawstring and secure hook-and-eye closure for a custom fit. Down the center front, four fuchsia satin bows cascade vertically, each crowned with a faceted rhinestone and a dangling pearl, while silver sequin scrollwork and hand-set crystals trace the edges and sheer flutter sleeves. The skirt blooms from a magenta waist sash into eleven layers of imported stiff tulle in a blush-to-peach gradient, embroidered with shimmering silver vine motifs and finished with a beaded scalloped hem; dancers under 150 cm receive a tailored ten-layer version with dense mesh and a matching brief. Every bead is placed by hand, lending a jeweled brilliance to the silhouette. Recommended Ballet Roles & Variations: Fairy Doll.
