In white and nude, this pancake tutu piece is constructed as a ballet tutu. The upper body is cut from stretch satin. White meets nude across the piece. The skirt is built from nine layers of stiff tulle over a built-in hooping. The back closes with two rows of hand-worked adjustable hooks. A hidden tie inside the upper bust edge sets the fit. Double-mesh decorated briefs form the foundation. On the bodice front, the design carries white swirl embroidery. Silver small bead accents decorate the surface of the skirt. The skirt itself: a flat, horizontal, stiff skirt with an embroidered tulle top layer and a ruffled tulle hem of about two to three layers.
